What could be better than spending the afternoon feeling the wind at your back and zooming across the warm water sailing off the beach?

Come down and sail Hobie's latest catamaran, the Getaway, as well as the popular and easy to use Hobie Wave.

If you own a catamaran, you can store it at our facility for $100 per month, which includes free towing to and from the water (during our business hours) whenever you feel like sailing.

We are adding two new boats to our fleet this winter: a 10-footer and a 17-footer tri-maran. The boat has a hull and two wings, so the driver sits in their own enclosed cockpit in the center, and passengers sit on the wings. Stop by to check out these new boats!

The Getaway 16-footer won the 2002 Boat of the Year award from sailing word in the recreational racer category, and 2002 Boat of the Year in SAIL magazine. 

Hobie eliminated the boom in both models to avoid the chance of getting bumped in the head. The Hobie Wave is also jibless which is great for beginners since they only have one sail to worry about. We have chosen just Catamaran style boats because they are best suited for beach launching and are very stable. 

If you are used to monohull boats, no problem, it's just as easy to transfer your sailing skills to Catamarans, and our staff can easily show you how. 

If you have never sailed before call ahead for a lesson, most people have always wanted to, but thought it was complicated well not anymore, why not learn something new?

Our Hobie 16-footer comfortably holds four adults and has forward trampoline favored by the kids, especially the ones who like to get wet!

Just one or two people and maybe a little rusty on your sailing skills from years ago? Take out the Hobie Wave 14-footer, it's very user-friendly and our staff can reacquaint you with the basic sailing skills and you're off.

The best part about sailing at Delray Beach Water Sports Rentals is that the sailboats are rigged up just a couple of feet from the water and we just push it out a bit, jump on, pull in your mainsail and you're off sailing!

Give us a call to make sure the weather conditions are conducive for sailing, safety is important so we cannot let the boats out if it is too windy or stormy or there are strong waves.
